01/10/2011 Five Fatal Crashes on Sunday. Considering less traffic on highways, one may hope reduced number of accidents would follow. Sunday was a horrible day for Houston drivers. 

01/04/2011: A Sherif Deputy died when a driver did not stop for an emergency car. Deputy was responding to a back up call and he was killed because of a vehicle who failed to yeild. 

12/25/2010: A University police officer died in a crash. She was 24 and a volunteer police officer of Jamaica Beach. The accident happened while she was responding to assult in progress.
